2012 Ready to Wear Collection
Even after Alexander McQueen's death, the genius of his collection lives on. Sarah Burton's vision for his Ready to Wear Spring 2012 collection proved to not disappoint. Burton was able to merge the darkness of dominatrix and the lightness of a wonderland. Gasping for air as I viewed look after look, the collection reminded me why I love fashion so much. It is not only just clothes but a visual orgasmic experience. I remember my first pair of Alexander McQueen shoes (my sister ever so graciously purchased ;) ), which were the last pair of booties he designed before his death.
